Soundrise today announced that Chris Bowlby has joined as Senior Vice President of Sales. After onboarding new content partners the TED Audio Collective, Resolute Square and Condé Nast in 2023, Soundrise is poised to capture increased marketshare in 2024.
Bowlby brings with him an impressive track record of success in the media and advertising industry, most recently launching the brand sales business at Lisbyn Ads, partnering with the largest holding company ad agencies and national brand advertisers to drive revenue for over 1,500 podcasts.
Bowbly's career is marked by notable achievements in revenue generation and business development as both player and coach across several high-profile companies, including The New York Times, Spotify, The Information, and Flipboard. His experience in the B2B, finance, and technology verticals has awarded him a deep understanding of the marketing challenges facing these categories. Prior to his digital media roles, Bowlby led sales and general management for radio stations and cable TV ad sales operations in Fresno, Sacramento, Portland and San Fransisco.

His efforts have not only fostered substantial revenue growth but also established lasting client relationships with brands like Charles Schwab, Microsoft, HubSpot, Oracle, Peloton, and Angi among others.
At Soundrise, Bowlby will manage a senior sales team and media planner.
