Public media organization PRX and TED today announced an expanded audio partnership. PRX and their podcast sales firm Soundrise will now serve as official sales partner to the entire TED Audio Collective, TED’s acclaimed collection of podcasts. This expansion builds on a multi-year collaboration among the organizations as PRX will continue to serve as distributor for TED’s podcasts.
The mission-driven organizations are dedicated to elevating the profound creativity and curiosity of the collective’s audio creators. This expanded partnership will further unlock sponsorship efficiency and scale for the TED Audio Collective, opening additional opportunities for brands seeking reach and impact across multiple platforms. TED — including the TED Partnerships team — PRX, and Soundrise will align with best-in-class brands aiming to reach robust audiences where they are. Soundrise will act as a key partner in audio sales for the TED Audio Collective while the TED Partnerships team continues their sponsorship offering for multi-platform opportunities leveraging TED’s full digital ecosystem (including audio, digital video, and social), TED’s flagship conferences, and custom events.
TED Audio Collective podcasts are downloaded millions of times monthly by highly engaged listeners, spanning culture, design, psychology, business, technology, health and wellness, and more. Distributed by PRX and now represented by PRX and Soundrise in the podcast sponsorship marketplace, TED titles include “TED Talks Daily” hosted by Elise Hu, “Design Matters with Debbie Millman,” “Re: Thinking with Adam Grant,” “How To Be A Better Human” hosted by Chris Duffy, “Fixable” with Anne Morriss and Frances Frei, “TED Business,” “TED Health,” “TED Tech,” and beyond. “Listeners everywhere look to TED for the inspiration, ideas, and knowledge that defines their programming. We’re proud of our longtime partnership with TED and to now deepen it by representing the entire network’s podcasts,” said Kerri Hoffman, CEO of PRX.
“As we continue to grow and refine the TED Audio Collective to connect curious listeners to a wide range of ideas, hosts, and new content, we are thrilled to expand our longtime partnership with PRX. This collaboration will allow our brand partners increased access to our robust collection of podcasts and ad formats,” said Laura Beyer, Senior Director of Partnerships, TED.

TED is on a mission to discover and spread ideas that spark imagination, embrace possibility and catalyze impact. Our organization is devoted to curiosity, reason, wonder and the pursuit of knowledge — without an agenda. We welcome people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world and engagement with others, and we invite everyone to engage with ideas and activate them in your community.
TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged. Today it spans a multitude of worldwide communities and initiatives exploring everything from science and business to education, arts and global issues. Aside from the hundreds of TED Talks curated from our annual conferences and published on TED.com, we produce original podcasts, short video series, animated TED-Ed lessons and TV programs that are translated into more than 100 languages and distributed via partnerships around the world. Each year, more than 3,000 independently run TEDx events bring people together to share ideas and bridge divides in communities on every continent. Through the Audacious Project, TED has helped catalyze nearly $3 billion in funding for projects that seek to make the world more beautiful, sustainable and just. In 2020, TED launched Countdown, an initiative to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis and mobilize a movement for a net-zero emission future.
